Drenovci (Hungarian:Drenóc,German:Drenowitz,Bosnian:Drenovci,Serbian Cyrillic:Дреновци) is avillage and municipality in theVukovar-Syrmia County inCroatia. The municipality is part ofSlavonia.
According to the2011 census, there are 5,174 inhabitants, in the followingsettlements:[3]
87.05% of the population areCroats.[4]
Directly elected minority councils and representatives are tasked with consulting tasks for the local or regional authorities in which they are advocating for minority rights and interests, integration into public life and participation in the management of local affairs.[5] At the2023 Croatian national minorities councils and representatives electionsBosniaks andSerbs of Croatia fulfilled legal requirements to elect 10 members minority councils of the Drenovci Municipality with Serb council remaining unelected due to lack of candidates.[6]
