Drag Race Sverige (internationally calledDrag Race Sweden) is a Swedish reality competition television series based on the American seriesRuPaul's Drag Race. It is broadcast bySVT1 andSVT Play inSweden and airs onWOW Presents Plus elsewhere.[1][2]
Drag Race Sverige is the twelfth international adaptation of the American reality competition seriesRuPaul's Drag Race, followingChilean,Thai,British,Canadian,Dutch,Australian and New Zealand,Spanish,Italian,French,Filipino, andBelgian versions. It has been followed byMexican,Brazilian, andGerman iterations.
The adaptation was announced in April 2022 and casting began in May.[1][3] Mastiff AB produces the show. Executive producers areRuPaul and Tom Campbell, as well asWorld of Wonder founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato.[4] The show is presented byRobert Fux[5] with singer and actressKayo and radio and television hostFarao Groth [sv] making up the judging panel.[6] The first season premiered March 4, 2023 and was won byAdmira Thunderpussy, withFontana as the runner-up.

On 19 October 2022, it was confirmed that the main season will have its own companion series calledDrag Race Sverige: Untucked. This the second international iteration of the Untucked series, afterDrag Race Philippines: Untucked!.[16]
