Sudhanshu Pandey (Born 22 Aug 1974) is anIndian model, film and television actor, singer, writer producer and part time poet. He has appeared in manyHindi films and fewTamil films.

After a successful modelling career,^[2] he made his television debut withBeta, which aired in 1999. That same year, Pandey featured in the song,Maikhane se Sharab se fromPankaj Udhas 's AlbumMahek. A year later, he made his film debut inKhiladi 420 as co-lead withAkshay Kumar. He then became part of India's first ever boy bandA Band of Boys. In 2002, his first albumYeh Bhi Woh Bhi was released. Pandey leftA Band of Boys in 2005, as he needed to settle down financially,^[3] but rejoined in 2024.

Pandey also regularly appeared in Tamil cinema throughout the 2010s, and portrayed his first main antagonist role inBilla II (2012) starringAjith Kumar. He later followed that up with roles inMeaghamann (2014),Indrajith (2017) and2.0 (2018), the most expensive Indian film at the time of its release.^[4][5]

Pandey had a production house, namedRaw Stock Production Private Limited, under which he produced a music video for his first singleTeri Adaa in 2018, for which he also served as lyricist, as well as a short film namedFitrat in 2021, along with Tahir Baig, his second home production. Later he dissolved that company.

In 2020, he began portraying Vanraj Shah inAnupamaa, which popularized him among the Hindi-speaking audience.^[6][7] However, he quit the series in August 2024, after four years.^[8][9]In 2022, he reprised his role of Vanraj Shah inAnupamaa's eleven-episode prequel web seriesAnupama: Namaste America which streams onDisney+ Hotstar.^[10]

His second solo singleDil Ki Tu Zameen was launched in 2023 in which he performed alongsideMadalsa Sharma. He produced the song. In June 2025, he participated as contestant in thePrime Video'sThe Traitors India, where he finished at 4th place.^[11]

His mother is aPunjabi and in an interview, he identified himself as 'half-Punjabi'.^[12]

Pandey is married to Mona Pandey and they have two sons, Nirvaan and Vivaan Pandey.^[13][14]
