Dominique Jameux (24 December 1939 – 2 July 2015) was a Frenchmusicologist,radio producer and writer.
Dominique Jameux collaborated with theAtelier de création radiophonique [fr] created byAlain Trutat [fr] onFrance Culture and hostedLa Musique prend la parole. He later joinedFrance Musique, where he became a producer. He hostedLe Matin des musiciens between 1978 and 1991, as well as programs such asLe Fauteuil de Monsieur Dimanche andHistoires de musique.[1]
Dominique Jameux founded and directed the magazineMusique en jeu, devoted to music of the twentieth century, which appeared every quarter between 1970 and 1978. He dedicated works toRichard Strauss andAlban Berg, which appeared in the seriesSolfèges of theÉditions du Seuil. In 1984,Fayard published his biography ofPierre Boulez. In 2009, he evoked his professional activity inRadio.[2][1]
TheSociété civile des auteurs multimédia [fr] (SCAM) prize was awarded to Dominique Jameux in 1994 for the whole of his radio work.[1] In 2006, he was made a Chevalier of theOrdre du Mérite.
