Dmitry Matveyev (born May 2, 1944) is aSovietsprint canoeist who competed in the late 1960s. He won a gold medal in the K-1 4 x 500 m event at the1966 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships inEast Berlin.

Matveyev also competed at the1968 Summer Olympics inMexico City in theK-4 1000 m event, but was eliminated in the semifinals.
