Dmitrijs Miļkevičs (born 6 December 1981) is a formerLatviantrack athlete who competed in400 metres and800 metres.
Miļkevičs ran a career-best 46.44 in the 400 metres at the 2003European Athletics U23 Championships inBydgoszcz,Poland. He has won anNCAA championship while competing for theUniversity of Nebraska–Lincoln. In the2004 Summer Olympics, he was 14th in the 800 metres. In 2006, he set the Latvian record in the 800 metres with a time of 1:43.67, a record which still stands.
After Miļkevičs found out that, due to lack of funds, theLatvian Athletics Union wouldn't able to pay forLatvian delegation's start at the2010 European Athletics Championships, he decided not to compete.
