TheDivision of Wimmera was anAustralian electoral division in thestate ofVictoria. It was named after theWimmera region in which it was partially located. The division was proclaimed in 1900, and was one of theoriginal 65 divisions to be contested at thefirst federal election.[1]

It originally encompassedMildura,Swan Hill andWarracknabeal. In 1949, theDivision of Mallee took the seat's northern area.

By the time the seat was abolished on 31 October 1977, it had drifted south and grown smaller to only includeArarat,Horsham andMaryborough. It become part of the Division of Mallee, reuniting the two divisions.
