Disley railway station serves the village ofDisley inCheshire,England. It is sited12+1⁄3 miles (19.8 km) south-east ofManchester Piccadilly on theBuxton Line, built by theStockport, Disley and Whaley Bridge Railway. The station is managed byNorthern Trains, which also operates all trains serving it.

The station has a staffed ticket office, though this is only open during morning peak periods (07:10–10:10). Tickets can also be bought prior to travel at the station's ticket machines and on-line. Train running information is available via telephone, automated announcements and CIS displays.

Waiting facilities are limited to shelters on each side; other buildings, including the former station house and signal box, have been demolished. Step-free access to both platforms is available via ramps and sloping paths from Buxton Road West.[1]
There is generally one train per hour betweenManchester Piccadilly andBuxton, viaStockport; trains run every two hours each way on Sundays.[2]

Disley station has been the subject of a station improvement campaign backed by Disley Parish Council and the local community. They have improved the bank on theNew Mills Newtown side of the station with additions such as new plant pots, a new garden, and a newRunning in board. They have received the 2021 'Cheshire's best kept station' 'Best Kept Garden' award for their efforts.[3]
