Dionysiakos (Greek:Διονυσιακός Χορός) is a form ofGreek dance and customs fromancient Greece.Dionysiakos and its forms are revived today in many areas ofGreece likePeloponnese,central Greece,Thessaly andCrete with the best-known being thePhallus festival in the area ofTyrnavos,Larissa.[1]
It is a pagan fertility festival in honor of the god ofMount Olympus,Dionysus with customs and activities based on thereligion in ancient Greece and is one of the most famousworldwide.
