Dionisio Point Provincial Park is a marine-accessedprovincial park campground in the southernGulf Islands ofBritish Columbia, Canada. It is located at the northwestern tip ofGaliano Island, acrossPorlier Pass fromValdes Island.[1]
The park name originates from the arrival of CaptainDionisio Alcalá Galiano on shipSutil to the Gulf Islands in 1792.
Shell middens andberms in the park indicate human use for at least 3,000 years prior to present day. The park also contains fenced archaeological sites of thePenelakut First Nation.[1]
