Dimitrov (Armenian:Դիմիտրով), orGhuylasar Nerkin until 1949,[2] is a village in theArtashat Municipality of theArarat Province ofArmenia.
It was renamed in 1949 in honor ofGeorgi Dimitrov −Comintern andBulgarian Communist leader and prime minister ofBulgaria.
The village is inhabited mainly byArmenians andAssyrians.
