Dimitrios Ypsilantis (Greek:Δημήτριος Υψηλάντης) is a formermunicipality inKozani regional unit,West Macedonia,Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipalityKozani, of which it is a municipal unit.[2] It was named afterDemetrius Ypsilanti, a 19th-century leader of the Greek struggle for independence. The municipal unit has an area of 112.071 km2.[3] Population 1,392 (2021). The seat of the municipality was inMavrodendri.
