Dimitar Nikolov Yakimov (Bulgarian:Димитър Николов Якимов; born 12 August 1941) is a Bulgarian former professionalfootballer who played as anattacking midfielder orforward. He representedSeptemvri Sofia andCSKA Sofia at club level, and theBulgaria national team internationally.

International career

Yakimov was part of theBulgaria under-18 team that won the1959 UEFA European Under-18 Championship. On 11 October 1959, he first played for theBulgarian senior squad, in a match versusFrance.[2] Yakimov played for Bulgaria at the1960 Summer Olympics.[3][4]
