Dieter Nohlen (born 6 November 1939)[1] is a German academic andpolitical scientist.[2] He currently holds the position of Emeritus Professor of Political Science in the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of theUniversity of Heidelberg. An expert onelectoral systems andpolitical development, he has published several books.[3]
