Didier Ollé-Nicolle (born 2 September 1961) is a Frenchfootball manager and formerplayer who played as adefender. He most recently managedDivision 1 Féminine sideParis Saint-Germain Féminine.
Ollé-Nicolle was born inBelley,Ain. He had a modest playing career in French lower leagues forAngers,Chambéry andRaon-l'Étape. He primarily played as adefender.
Ollé-Nicolle coachedRaon-l'Étape,Valenciennes,Nîmes,Châteauroux.[1] He has managing inLigue 1 atOGC Nice, as of 1 July 2009[2] and on 9 March 2010, Nice decided to sack him and put the team into the hands ofEric Roy,René Marsiglia and Frédéric Gioria.[3]
In September 2010, he was namedNeuchâtel Xamax manager.[4] He was sacked after a 4–1 home defeat againstFC Thun on 11 May 2011, leaving theSwiss Cup finalist two points clear of relegation with three games left.
In July 2011, he was hired as manager forApollon Limassol, aCypriot team considered to be one of the strong teams on theisland of Cyprus, with lot of supporters but with many economic and staffing issues surrounding the team in 2011. Didier Nicolle appeared to be the most appropriate manager after short-listing some others, to help the team regain its prestige and return to the path of titles and glory.
On 10 November 2011, Ollé-Nicolle was appointed as manager ofAlgerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 sideUSM Alger, signing a two-year contract with the club.[5]
On 24 May 2012, it was confirmed Ollé-Nicolle would take charge as the coach ofChampionnat National sideFC Rouen for the 2012–13 season.
In March 2014, Ollé-Nicolle was named the head coach of theBenin national team on a two-year contract.[6] He departed the role in November 2014.[7]
In March 2015, he was named as head coach ofSR Colmar in the third tier of French football.
In 2016, he became the new manager ofUS Orléans. In February 2020, with the club at the bottom of theLigue 2 table, he was sacked.[8]
On 1 June 2020 he was announced as the new head coach ofLe Mans FC.[9] After finishing 4th in the2020–21 Championnat National, it was announced that he was leaving his position.[10]
On 27 September 2023, a criminal investigation was opened against Ollé-Nicolle, withKadidiatou Diani accusing him of sexual assault.[11]
