Chemical compound

Dictyophorines are a pair ofsesquiterpenes isolated from the fungusPhallus indusiatus (Dictyophora indusiata).[1][2] These compounds are based on theeudesmane skeleton, a common structure found in plant-derived flavors and fragrances, and they are the first eudesmanederivatives isolated from fungi. Dictyophorines A and B promote the synthesis ofnerve growth factor inastroglial cells.[3]
