Richard Maxwell Huffman (March 27, 1923 – September 13, 1992) was an American professionalfootball player who was atackle in theNational Football League (NFL) and the CanadianWestern Interprovincial Football Union (WIFU).
A 9th round selection (81st overall pick) of the1945 NFL draft, Huffman played four seasons for theLos Angeles Rams (1947–1950). He then went to the WIFU (a precursor to theCFL's Western Conference) where he played for seven seasons for theWinnipeg Blue Bombers (1951–1955) and theCalgary Stampeders (1956–1957).
While still playing pro football, he began a career as a professional wrestler in the offseason.
In 1987, he was inducted into theCanadian Football Hall of Fame.
