Chemical compound

Diacetylnalorphine (BAN), also known asO3,O6-diacetyl-N-allyl-normorphine, is anopioiddrug described as ananalgesic andantidote which was never marketed.[1] It is the 3,6-diacetylester ofnalorphine, and therefore theheroinanalogue of nalorphine. Diacetylnalorphine may behave as aprodrug to nalorphine, similarly to the cases ofheroin (diacetylmorphine) tomorphine anddiacetyldihydromorphine todihydromorphine.
