Denis Constantin (born 29 July 1980) is a formerMauritianbadminton player, and later representedAustralia.[1][2] He was the men's singles gold medallist at the 2000African Championships, and in the men's doubles event partnered withEddy Clarisse.[3] He then defend the men's doubles gold in 2002 partnered withStephan Beeharry.[4] Constantin competed for Mauritius at the1998, and2002 Commonwealth Games, also at the2000 Summer Olympics.[5][6] He was awarded Athlete of the Month by the Mauritius Sports Council in June 2001.[7] Constantin graduated from theLa Trobe University inMelbourne, and now work asphysiotherapists.[8]
