Demoptolemus

Greek mythical character

InHomer'sOdyssey,Demoptolemus (/ˌdɛməpˈtɒlɪməs/;Ancient Greek:Δημοπτόλεμος,romanizedDēmoptólemos) was one of the 108suitors ofthe queen ofIthaca,Penelope.[1][2] He came fromDulichium along with 51 other suitors.[3] Demoptolemus, with the other suitors, met his end by the spear ofOdysseus in the final stages of the battle in the hall of the latter's palace.[4][5]
