Delsatia is an earlymammaliaformgenus that lived during theLate Triassic and has been found in theGres infralisiques Formation ofFrance.[1][2] The type species,D. rhupotopi, was named in 1997.[3] It was originally tentatively placed within theDocodonta,[3] but subsequent studies disagree with this;Delsatia is seen by most as a basal mammaliaform.[4] Theholotype,MNHN.F.SNP408W, is an incomplete, isolated tooth.[3]
