TheJacques Delors building is an office building in theEuropean Quarter ofBrussels, Belgium, which houses theEuropean Economic and Social Committee and theCommittee of the Regions. It is located at 99–101,rue Belliard/Belliardstraat, next toLeopold Park, and was formerly called the Belliard building.
The building housed the Brussels activities of theEuropean Parliament until the 1990s, when these functions were moved to the newEspace Léopold. In the 2000s, it was renovated for use by the two Committees. In 2006, it was renamed the Jacques Delors building (abbreviated 'JDE'), afterJacques Delors, formerPresident of the European Commission, who was the most prominent founder of the Committee of the Regions.
