Deepak AnandMPP is aCanadian politician, who was elected to theLegislative Assembly of Ontario in the2018 provincial election. Anand is achemical engineer fromPanjab University in India and earned his MBA degree from theSchulich School of Business in Canada.[1] He represents the riding ofMississauga—Malton as a member of theProgressive Conservative Party of Ontario. He is the Parliamentary Assistant to the Associate Minister of Small Business Member and Member of the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs.

Professional background

Originally fromMohali, India, Anand went to Panjab University for Chemical Engineering and worked in India before immigrating to Canada in 2000. He started his working life as a lab technician at an automotive factory. He was promoted to Quality Manager within theautomotive industry.[citation needed] He then studied for aMaster of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business before working as a Financial Analyst atMorguard . He then acquired a small company that distributed automotive parts around the country.[2]
