Deb Matejicka

Canadian sports journalist

Deb Matejicka (born inWinnipeg,Manitoba) is aCanadian sports journalist formerly working forThe Score sports television network.[1]

Matejicka received a degree in political studies and English from theUniversity of Manitoba and a diploma in creative communications with a major in journalism fromRed River College.[2]

After launching her journalism career inBrandon, Manitoba, she worked for theCTV network inSaskatoon andRegina, Saskatchewan,A-Channel inCalgary, andCKVU inVancouver. Matejicka began working for The Score in October 2001.[3] In 2013, Matejicka joinedThe Weather Network as its Calgary bureau reporter.

In May 2018, Matejicka joinedGlobal Calgary as its community events reporter.[4]

Matejicka is a former competitive swimmer. She has three children.[2]
