De'Teri Mayes (born August 5, 1974) is a former Austrian-American professionalbasketball player.
Mayes played in the top-tier level Austrian league, theÖBL, with theAllianz Swans Gmunden, from the 1999–2000 season, through the 2010–11 season. He also played two seasons with the Austrian clubKapfenberg Bulls, after he signed with them in 2011.[1] He won five AustrianÖBL Most Valuable Player awards, twoÖBL Finals MVP awards, and twoAustrian Cup MVP awards, in his career, which makes him one of the best players ever to have played inAustria.
