"Ummati Qad Laha Fajrun" (Arabic:أُمَّتِي قَدْ لَاحَ فَجْرٌ,lit.'MyUmmah, Dawn Has Appeared.'), also known as "Dawlat al-Islam Qamat" (Arabic:دَوْلَة اُلْإِسْلَامِ قَامَتْ,lit.'The Islamic State Has Been Established'), is anIslamistjihadinasheed (song without music instruments) which became an unofficial anthem of theIslamic State. It was released in December 2013 and soon became their most popular nasheed.[1] The American magazineThe New Republic referred to it as the most influential nasheed of 2014.[2]

The chant isa capella apart from sound effects of asword being unsheathed, feet stomping, andgunfire. It was produced by theAjnad Media Foundation [ar],[3] which produces most Islamic State anasheed.[4] The nasheed has also been used by the Nigerian jihadist groupBoko Haram to accompany speeches.[1]
