David Weil (born 1989/1990)[1] is an American television writer, producer, director and showrunner.[2][3][4][5] He created theAmazon Prime Video television seriesHunters (2020–2023),[6][7][8][9] and the Amazon anthology miniseriesSolos (2021).[10][11][12][13] He also co-created the seriesInvasion (2021–present) withSimon Kinberg forApple TV+.[14]
Weil grew up inGreat Neck, New York.[15] He isJewish.[16] He is also the grandson of Holocaust survivors.[17]
