David M. Wehner is an American business executive who is thechief strategy officer (CSO) ofMeta Platforms (known until 2021 as Facebook, Inc.).

Wehner attendedSaint Louis Priory School and graduated in 1986.[1] Wehner graduated fromGeorgetown University with aBS inChemistry, where he was an editor forThe Hoya. He graduated fromStanford University with anMS inApplied Physics, where he was aNational Science Foundation fellow.[2]

Career

Early in his career, Wehner worked atMonitor Group andHambrecht & Quist. Wehner worked atAllen & Company for nearly a decade until 2010, when he became the CFO ofZynga.[2][3] At these firms, he heldseries 7 andseries 24 licenses.

Wehner joinedFacebook in 2011 as VP of Corporate Finance and Business Planning.[4][5] Wehner succeededDavid Ebersman as CFO ofFacebook, Inc. on June 1, 2014.[6][7]
