David Tappan (1752–1803) was an Americantheologian. He occupied theHollis Chair atHarvard Divinity School until his death in 1803.[1] He was elected a Fellow of theAmerican Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1796.[2] He graduated fromHarvard University in 1771.
