David Ratcliffe (born 9 March 1957) is a former professionalfootballer. Born in England, he represented Australia at international level.[1]
Born inDewsbury, Ratcliffe joinedBradford City as an amateur in July 1972,[2] joining the first-team in March 1975.[3] He made 28 league appearances, scoring once, and two FA Cup appearances,[4] before leaving the club in June 1978.[2] He later played in Australia forBrisbane City,St. George,Sydney Olympic,Wollongong City andMount Pritchard.[5][6]
He also earned 21 international caps forAustralia between 1982 and 1986.[7][8]
He managedWollongong City,Sydney Olympic, andSydney United in theAustralian National Soccer League.[9]
