David Karako (Hebrew:דוד קרקו; born February 11, 1945) is a formerIsraelifootball defender who played for theIsrael national team between 1968 and 1972, gaining 12 caps.[1] He was part of the Israel squad for the1970 World Cup.
At club level, Karako played forMaccabi Tel Aviv,[2]Beitar Jerusalem[3] andHapoel Yehud,[4]
After retiring, Karako coachedHapoel Yehud,[5]Lazarus Holon andHapoel Or Yehuda before returning toHapoel Yehud for a second stint.[6] Later Karako coachedHapoel Tayibe,Maccabi Herzliya andHapoel Ramat Gan.[7]
