David Holdridge (born February 5, 1969) is an American former professionalbaseballpitcher. He played for theSeattle Mariners ofMajor League Baseball (MLB). He also played in theCalifornia Angels andPhiladelphia Phillies organizations.
Holdridge was drafted 31st overall in the 1st round of the1987 Major League Baseball draft by theCalifornia Angels.[1] On October 3, 1988 the Angels traded Holdridge to thePhiladelphia Phillies forLance Parrish.[2]
On December 9, 1991, Holdridge returned to the Angels organization after being selected from the Phillies in the 1991Rule 5 draft.
On December 13, 1996, Holdridge signed as a free agent with theSeattle Mariners. In 1998, he appeared in 7 games for Seattle with a 4.05 ERA in 6.2 innings pitched; this would be his only season in the big leagues.
