Dave Stone (born 12 June 1964)[1] is a British science fiction writer.

Stone has written many spin off novels based on theBBCscience fictiontelevision seriesDoctor Who andJudge Dredd.
Stone also contributed a number ofcomic series appearing in2000 AD and in theJudge Dredd Megazine, focusing on theJudge Dredd universe. In collaboration withDavid Bishop and artistShaky Kane he produced the much dislikedSoul Sisters, which he has described as "a joke-trip, which through various degrees of miscommunication ended up as a joke-strip without any jokes."[citation needed] Working independently, he created the better receivedArmitage, a take onInspector Morse set in a future London, and also contributed to the ongoingJudge Hershey series.
