David Dale Leeper (born October 30, 1959) is an American former professional baseballoutfielder. He played professionally for theKansas City Royals of theMajor League Baseball (MLB).
Leeper was born inSanta Ana, California and graduated fromVilla Park High School inVilla Park, California. He playedcollege baseball at theUniversity of Southern California.[1]
He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 1st round (23rd pick) of the1981 Major League Baseball Draft.[2] He played parts of two seasons in the majors for the Kansas City Royals in the1984 season and the1985 season. He managed three hits in 40at bats.
