Darwin Glacier is a mountainglacier located on the north side ofMount Darwin in theSierra Nevada, California.[2] The glacier is located inKings Canyon National Park. The glacier inherited its name from Mount Darwin, named forCharles Robert Darwin.[3]In 2004, a study found that since 1900, Darwin Glacier had lost half its surface area.[4]
