Darío Antonio Veras (born March 13, 1973) is a Dominican formerMajor League Baseball player. Apitcher, Veras played for theSan Diego Padres[1] (1996 and1997) andBoston Red Sox (1998). Veras attempted a comeback with theLos Angeles Dodgers in 2007, but ultimately was cut from the team during spring training. Veras signed with theVaqueros Laguna of theMexican League and played for them during the 2010 season.
