Darby station is aSEPTA Regional Rail station inDarby, Pennsylvania. It is located on theNortheast Corridor at 4th and Colwyn Streets, and serves theWilmington/Newark Line.
The station sits southeast from theDarby Transportation Center, aSEPTA bus and trolley terminal that is the terminus ofRoutes 11 and13 of theSEPTA Subway–Surface Trolley Lines. There are no connections between the two stations.
Darby once had two other railroad stations. One, owned by theBaltimore and Ohio Railroad (now thePhiladelphia Subdivision ofCSX), sat at Main and Sixth Streets,[4] where theSEPTA Route 11 trolley crosses today. The other, owned by thePennsylvania Railroad, stood where the current station stands, and later across the tracks.[4]
Darby has two low-levelside platforms with pathways connecting the platforms to the inner tracks.
