Daniel Isaí de la Cruz de la Cruz (born 6 March 2004) is an Ecuadoreanfootballer who plays forL.D.U. Quito and theEcuador national under-20 football team.[2]

Career

He was promoted to the first team squad atL.D.U. Quito in 2024.[3] He made his debut for Quito in July 2024 in theCopa Ecuador and inEcuadorian Serie A againstC.S.D. Macará on 4 August 2024.[4][5]

International career

He was selected byEcuador to represent them at the2023 South American U-20 Championship.[6] Later that same year he was chosen for the2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, starting in Argentina in May 2023.[7]

Style of play

He made his first appearances for Quito playing on the right wing.[8]

Personal life

He is the son of former international footballerUlises de la Cruz.[9] He is the cousin ofMaiky de la Cruz.[10][11]
