Daniel Ellis Roberts (born November 13, 1997) is an Americansprinter andHurdler. He won a silver medal at the2024 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal at the2023 World Championships in the 110 m hurdles.
Roberts represents Nike.
In October 2024, it was announced that he had signed up for the inaugural season of theMichael Johnson foundedGrand Slam Track.[2]

As of 15 September 2024, Roberts holds the track record for 110 metres hurdles forSuzhou, China. On 27 April 2024 he clocked 13.12 seconds with a following wind of 0.8 m/s.
Roberts is a 4-timeUSTFCCCANCAA Division IAll-American and 1-timeSoutheastern Conference champion. Roberts' 110 m hurdle time ranks in the top 2 US collegian all-time.[5] Roberts set University of Kentucky records under the guidance of coach Tim Hall and previously (2016–2018) UK volunteer assistant coach/training partnerOmar McLeod / Direction of coachEdrick Floréal.[6] Roberts won the 110 hurdles at 2019Drake Relays.[7][8] Roberts, who tied theSoutheastern Conference meet record of 13.07 in the 110 m hurdles.[9][10]

Roberts is a 2016 graduate ofHampton High School.[11] Prior to senior year he went toStarr's Mill High School inPeachtree City.[12] In the Fall of 2015, Roberts suffered anAmerican football knee injury tearing his ACL, MCL, PCL and started wearing the long tights because of thesurgery scars.[13]
Roberts has a big sports family with his brothers playingNCAA football and sister Alicia Roberts ran track and playedNCAAVolleyball.[14][15]
