Daniel Brown (born 29 November 1982) is a retiredBritishpararower who competed at international-level events. He is a Paralympic champion, a triple world champion and a doubleworld cup champion in the mixedcoxed four withGrace Clough,Pam Relph,James Fox andOliver James.[1]

Brown was a keenfootball andrugby league player when he was in his teenage years and played forWokingham. He was involved in a car accident in 2003 which caused him to have life-changing injuries: he couldn't put weight on his ankle and he severed nerves in his left arm.[2][3]

At the2016 Rio Paralympics, Brown took gold in themixed coxed four alongsidePam Relph,Grace Clough,James Fox andOliver James.[4]

He was appointedMember of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the2017 New Year Honours for services to rowing.[5]
