Dani Charlotte Dyer-Bowen (born 8 August 1996) is an English television personality and actress. In 2018, she appeared onSurvival of the Fittest, and later that year won thefourth series ofLove Island alongside Jack Fincham. Since then, she has co-presented theMTV seriesTrue Love or True Lies alongside her fatherDanny Dyer, as well as co-hosting a podcast calledSorted with the Dyers with him.[1]
Dyer was born to Joanne Mas and Danny Dyer on 8 August 1996 in theLondon Borough of Newham.[2] She has a younger sister and a younger brother,[3] and attendedRoding Valley High School inLoughton, Essex.[4] Dyer worked as a barmaid before appearing on television.[5]
Dyer made her professional screen debut as an extra in the 2006 filmThe Other Half alongside her father.[6] She also appeared as an extra in other films starring her father, includingDoghouse (2009),Run for Your Wife (2012) andVendetta (2013).[6] The producer ofVendetta stated that she "absolutely blew away" the crew.[6] She then independently appeared in films includingWe Still Kill the Old Way (2014),Age of Kill (2015) andBonded by Blood 2 (2017).[6] In 2018, she was announced as a cast member for theITV2 reality seriesSurvival of the Fittest, but withdrew from the series on the second day after dislocating her shoulder.[7] Later that year, she competed in thefourth series of ITV2'sLove Island.[8] She won the series alongside Jack Fincham with 79.66% of the final vote.[9] Following theirLove Island win, Dyer and Fincham starred in the three-partITVBe reality seriesJack & Dani: Life After Love Island.[10][11] In 2019, she began appearing as a guest reporter onThe One Show,[12] and in 2020, she launched a range of lip products withVaseline.[13] Later that year, she began co-hosting apodcast with her father, titledSorted with the Dyers.[14] In June 2021, she made a guest appearance in theBBCsoap operaEastEnders as a taxi driver namedJeanette and appeared alongside her father who portrayed series regularMick Carter.[15]
In 2025 Dyer was announced as a contestant on thetwenty-third series ofStrictly Come Dancing.[16] Paired with professionalNikita Kuzmin, she later withdrew, prior to the first live show, after sustaining afractured ankle during rehearsals. As a result she appeared only in the launch show dance.[17]
In 2026 Dyer took part in the celebrity version of theChannel 4 showSAS: Who Dares Wins, finishing as joint winner alongsideGabby Allen andEmily Seebohm.[18]
Dyer was in a relationship with Sammy Kimmence before appearing onLove Island. While on the series in 2018, Dyer was in a relationship with Jack Fincham; the pair split later that year.[19] Dyer then rekindled her relationship with Kimmence.[20] On 23 January 2021, she gave birth to a son.[21][22] She reportedly split from Kimmence after he was jailed for 3½ years (serving 18 months)[23] after scamming two elderly men out of £34,000.[24][25]
On 27 December 2021, Dyer confirmed she was in a relationship withWest Ham United footballerJarrod Bowen in an interview onThe Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan.[23][26] She gave birth to twin daughters on 22 May 2023.[27][28] They announced their engagement on 21 July 2024 and married on 30 May 2025.[29][30][31]
