TheDani–Kwerba languages were a hypotheticallanguage family proposed byArthur Capell in 1962[1] and adopted byStephen Wurm as part of hisTrans–New Guinea (TNG) phylum.[2]Malcolm Ross reassigned the Dani languages to aWest Trans–New Guinea linkage and the Kwerba languages to hisTor–Kwerba family, outside of TNG altogether.
