Dane Lett (born 29 August 1990)[1][2] is a New Zealandfield hockey player, who plays as a defender.[3]

Dane Lett was born and raised inCarterton, New Zealand.[3]

Career

Lett debuted for theNew Zealand U-21 team in 2011 at theSultan of Johor Cup inJohor Bahru.[4]

Black Sticks

[edit]

In 2014, Lett made his official debut for theBlack Sticks during a test series againstJapan inWellington.[5][4][6]

Following his debut, Lett was left out of national squads for a number of years, reappearing in 2017. Lett won his first medal at a major tournament in 2018, taking home silver at theCommonwealth Games on theGold Coast.[7]

In 2019, Lett won his second silver medal with the Black Sticks at theOceania Cup inRockhampton.[4]
