Dan McIntyre is a jazz guitarist and composer fromChicago, Illinois.
McIntyre was born in Chicago's Northwest side. His early musical influences included guitaristsWes Montgomery,Herb Ellis,Joe Pass andBarney Kessell.[1][2]
He has performed withDella Reese,Diahann Carroll andVic Damone and toured North America and Europe withFrank Sinatra, Jr. in the 1970s and 1980s.[1]
McIntyre has released a CD titledHourglass on the Southport label.[2]
