Damian Brown (born 20 March 1970 inAdelaide) is an Australianweightlifter who competed at threeOlympic Games[1] and fourCommonwealth Games.

He competed at the1992 Barcelona,1996 Atlanta and2000 Sydney Olympics in the middleweight class. His best result was fourteenth in 2000.

At theCommonwealth Games, Brown won fourgold medals, a silver medal and three bronze medals between 1990 and 2002.[2][3] He was Australia'sflag bearer during theopening ceremony for the2002 Commonwealth Games inManchester.[4]

He was an ambassador forAustralia Day in the local area.[5]
