Dalva Ray Allen (January 13, 1935 – November 28, 2016)[1] was anAmerican footballdefensive end player who played professionally in theAmerican Football League (AFL). He playedcollege football at theUniversity of Houston. After being selected by theLos Angeles Rams in the 23rd round of the1957 NFL draft, Allen played three games for theToronto Argonauts in theCanadian Football League (CFL) during the 1957 season.[2] He played for theHouston Oilers on their AFL championship teams in 1960 and 1961, and for theOakland Raiders from 1962 through 1964.
