TheDallas–Fort Worth Film Critics Association (DFWFCA ) is an organization of 25 print, radio/TV and internet journalists fromDallas–Fort Worth -based publications. In December of each year, the DFWFCA meets to vote on theirDallas–Fort Worth Film Critics Association Awards for films released in the same calendar year.[ 1] [ 2]
In December 2006, theMiami Herald described the association as "one of the most reliable bellwethers of theAcademy Award for Best Picture ."[ 3]
