Daledalin (UK-3557-15) is anantidepressant which wassynthesized andtrialed fordepression in the early 1970s, but was never marketed.[1][2][3] It is aselectivenorepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, with no significant effects on thereuptake ofserotonin anddopamine, and noantihistamine oranticholinergic properties.[2][4]
Daledalin can be prepared by thereduction ofamedalin withdiborane.[2]
