Dainik Janambhumi (Assamese:দৈনিক জনমভূমি) is an IndianAssamese-language daily newspaper.[1] This newspaper is published by Janambhumi Group of Publications[2] from Nehru Park, Tulsi Narayan Sarma Path,Jorhat.[3] In 1947, Janambhumi Group of Publications was founded with the launch of the weekly newspaperJanambhumi, which is the oldest Assamese weekly.[citation needed] TheDainik Janmabhumi was first launched in 1972, the second and the third editions were launched fromGuwahati andTinsukia in 2004. The newspaper is now published simultaneously fromJorhat,Guwahati,Tinsukia andBongaigaon.
