DXIM (93.5FM)Hope Radio is aradio station owned and operated byAdventist Media. The station'sstudio andtransmitter are located at KM 3, Ba-an Hi-way,Butuan. It was formerly broadcast on 1323 kHz AM from 2012 until 2016, when it moved to the FM band.[1][2][3][4][5]
In September 2011, theNational Telecommunications Commission issued to theSeventh-day Adventist Church Provisional Authorities for two radio stations: one (AM) inButuan andanother (FM) inIligan. The former, asDXHR on 1323 kHz, was inaugurated on January 11, 2012 at its broadcast center located at the church's Northeastern Mindanao headquarters, becoming the second station ofHope Radio Philippines to be established afterDXCR inBukidnon.[6]
The station, while inAM and through its 10-kW power,[7] had its signal reachingNorthern Mindanao andCaraga regions, parts ofDavao Region, as well asLeyte andBohol islands.[6] With the station's later migration toFM, its signal now only reaches Caraga.[8]
Its daily broadcast has been focusing mainly onevangelism as well assacred music while also includednews andpublic service programs.[6][8]
